Chefornak, Alaska

Though some "scientists" may disagree, I assure you that I am indeed a traveler of time. Though I didn't realize it during my journy, somewhere along the route to Chefornak I slipped through a rupture in the space-time continuum and ended up in the 1920s.

Now some of you may be thinking that where I am is more like the 1800s, given its lack of running water, but I assure you the spirit of Chefornak leads me to believe that it can be no other time.

The spirit of Al Capone looms large in this small village and I am convinced he has been reincarnated as a Yup'ik Eskimo. Though alcohol distribution is illegal in Chefornak, there is little that can curb the smuggling or the innovative home brews. Just another clear reminder that it is supply and demand, not morality that is the true nature of humanity.

A little slice of heaven

This is nice.
